I’m looking to launch a new service that combines meditative practices of Yoga, Pilates and Meditation into running.
I’m a qualified UK Athletics running coach and PT and will be conducting four taster sessions during August and September. These will be run at 9:30am on a Sunday and will last up to 2 hours. Each week will be a different theme containing either a one hour yoga or pilates session and a coached group run.
Why combine pilates/yoga to running? Because there are many benefits of yoga and pilates for runners regardless of your running experience. Some of the benefits include core strength, flexibility, co-ordination, balance, promotion of correct running form and building focus and clarity to a run to enhance performance by bridging the connection between body and mind. This is an exciting new concept that I’m pleased to launch initially in our area!
Confirmed dates are as follows;
Aug 11 9:30 – Yoga / coached group run
Aug 18 9:30 – coached group run / 10:30 yin yoga
Sept 1 9:30 – Pilates for runners/ coached group run
Sept 8 9:30 90 Pilates/group run/yoga combined in one

The venue for the outdoor yoga and pilates classes is Manor Road Recreational Ground (TW11 8BP) with fantastic views overlooking the river.
Two experienced yoga instructors will be joining me to run the yoga components. I will be coaching the running component and tailoring a pilates session for runners, focusing on specific muscles used during a run.
